Your smile is a huge part of your everyday look. When you get a dental implant, you don’t want it to be of subpar quality because it is a permanent fixture in your mouth.
Dental implants consist of titanium metal, which is then made into an artificial root for the tooth. Once this is in place, an artificial tooth is added to the implant. The root of the implant is what will keep the artificial tooth in secure. For dental implants, we use the Astra Tech Implant System because it is designed to make the placement and healing process much more comfortable for the patient. To read more about the Astra Tech Implant System, please check out our main page for dental implants.
At Stonegate Dental, we pride ourselves on having a periodontist that is highly trained in placing dental implants. We are careful and attentive when dealing with dental implants and we strive to make the procedure as hassle free as possible.
Consultation and The Cost of Dental Implants
The procedure and the actual dental implant can vary in cost. Most times, it is a one-time cost, however, in some cases, the cost may not be covered by your dental plan.
For an accurate quote, you will need to come in for a consultation with Dr. Matthew Chan, our in-office periodontist, to discuss what it will cost for your specific dental implant. We advise our patients to research, but not to choose dental implants solely on based on cost. Often, sites will fool you by advertising a low cost, but the implant will be of poor quality.
At Stonegate Dental, we offer the best quality of dental implants from Astra Tech Implant Systems. We also have our highly trained periodontist (trained at The University of Toronto) that will complete the procedure for you.
Dental Implants Are An Investment In Your Smile
At Stonegate Dental, we like to think of dental implants as an investment in your smile and your overall oral health!
Getting a dental implant is not a one step process. After a consultation and placement of the implant, you will need to come back in for checkups and to have the final crown placement secured. Our process is very thorough and ensures that you are comfortable with your new implant.
Contact our Guelph office if you think you may be a candidate for dental implants, and we can set up a consultation with you to discuss costs and procedure.
